Hello Claverley blog!
Do you have a history/genealogy group in the village? If not why don’t you start one? My great great grandfather Joseph [Ready then Meredith], was born in the village [about 1791] to Mary Ready [the name was changed to Meredith later, for what reason is unclear]and I would love to know whether any of his relatives are still in the village today, or of anyone has a family connection. He later settled in Oaken, near Codsall, married and raised his family there. If anyone has any relevant information then I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
